Niagara Falls

One day we went to Niagara Falls and the first thing I saw was mist. I was really excited. When we got there I got splashed big time because it was so wet. we were following a map to each waterfall but next we went to Dip'N'Dots. Dip'n'Dots are small balls of Ice cream in a container and they are really good.

After that we went to the American Falls to see it . It was amazing because it was very high.

After that we went on a boat called Maid of the Mist and it was like it was a storm - it was really wet and we even got to be in Canada because it joins together with America.

Facts about Niagara Falls

1. Niagara Falls has 3 waterfalls. The Horseshoe is 790m wide, the American Falls are about 320m, and the Bridal Veil is 17m.

Then I asked the people in the band for facts about Niagara Falls.

Mel : Water for Niagara Falls comes from Lake ERie and flows into Lake Ontario.

Brad : 4 people have tightroped across Niagara Falls.

Mum : 600,000 Gallons of water per second go over the Horseshoe Falls.
